Junior Global Finance Controller - India

The Junior Global Finance Controller will support the Finance Director and Head of Partner Markets in the collecting, checking, summarizing and reporting all financial data. They will also:

  • Work closely with the other functions to optimize the financial reporting and create standardized reports for the Commercial and Medical affairs team; identify critical issues and propose solutions to improve and fasten reporting activity of actual costs.
  • Support the internal forecast processes by creating template and providing the needed information to the commercial team.
  • Cooperate with the Finance and Commercial team in collecting accruals for the monthly closing, and control right adoption of the P2P process.

Job Functions:

• Check and group all expenses that are processed by accounting.

• Prepare monthly statement of all expenses per category and employee for all regions/sub-regions.

• Analysis of all travel expenses and other expenses of the employees in direct markets, EOR (Employer of Record) and hosting countries.

• Analysis of all marketing expenses, such as booths, promotional materials, etc.

• Follow up that all hosting cost are submitted in time and are accurate.

• Calculation Gross profit for tenders.

• Check all expenses for proctorships & preceptorships and its allocation.

• Support on forecasting file for manufacturing.

• Produce regular reports to the Commercial team.

• Create product price database for analytical data.

• Check EOR invoices and prepare labor cost accruals.

• Identify accruals for marketing and promotional expenses on a monthly basis.

• Prepare sales and expense template for the forecast process.

• Other requests ad hoc.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required:

• Has experience with financial and other programs such as SAP, Excel, Power point.

• Good communication skills.

• Very good English proficiency.

• Detail oriented, organized and analytical.

• Ability to work independently, with remote supervision.

• Proactive and motivated.

Education and Experience:

• Diploma in Finance

• At least 2 years of experience in finance

• Experience working in global company

• Having experience in medical device industry preferable
